David Goodman

David Goodman, Executive Chairman, Pharmasciences Inc., MontrealDr. Goodman is the Executive Chairman of Pharmascience, a leading Canadian manufacturer of generic, branded, and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, serving both domestic and international markets. Headquartered in Montreal, Pharmascience is one of the largest Canadian pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Goodman obtained his B.Sc. degree in Commerce from McGill University and Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Virginia. Upon graduation, he began his career at Pharmascience in Business Development and has gained significant experience in progressively senior International and domestic roles. He headed the company’s international operations as Executive Vice President.

Under Dr. Goodman’s leadership, Pharmascience has gone from being a strictly Canadian company to becoming an important player on the global stage.

One of the major tenets of Dr. Goodman’s success is his belief and insistence on a major and constant investment in internal and external Research & Development programs and People Development.
