Irréversible Inc. is building neuromorphic (“brain”-like), physics-inspired chips that use a fraction of the power of conventional architectures and unlock always-on, edge-first AI. Our chips enable orders of magnitude better energy efficiency compared to GPUs and current edge devices, enabling always-on sensing and autonomy, while dramatically reducing total energy use and cost. We're creating a paradigm shift rather than competing on incremental improvements;we're developing a completely new class of chips that enable applications that were previously impossible using power-hungry legacy architectures. Initial markets include edge AI, IoT sensors, robotics, drones, and dual-use defence applications where power, weight, and heat dissipation are binding constraints.
