Patrice Gilbert is a visionary entrepreneur and recognized leader in the field of healthcare technology. As the Founder and CEO of Petal, a Canadian pioneer in real-time care orchestration, he has been instrumental in transforming the delivery of healthcare through AI-powered solutions that improve access to care, optimize medical workforce efficiency, and streamline coordination across the continuum of care. Under his leadership, Petal has grown into a national leader, serving more than 3,000 healthcare organizations across Canada.

With over two decades of experience in Canada’s innovation economy, Patrice brings deep expertise in digital health transformation. His career began as a product engineer at Thales Canada and Domosys, followed by leadership roles at TALEO, where he led product development teams. In 2009, he launched Petal, driven by a mission to simplify clinical workflows and enable health systems to better serve patients. Today, Petal’s technology plays a critical role in improving care delivery across the country.

In recognition of his entrepreneurial leadership, Patrice was named Quebec’s Young Business Person of the Year in Technology and Research in 2010. Under his guidance, Petal has been recognized for its rapid growth and innovation, earning spots on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists in 2024.
