Tuhk
Tuhk is a Toronto-based fintech company focused on fraud intelligence and payment risk collaboration. Its global data sharing platform connects banks, merchants, and payment providers, enabling them to securely share signals and coordinate decisions to uncover hidden risks, stop abuse, and boost approval rates. By modernizing how stakeholders across the global payments ecosystem collaborate to fight financial crime, Tuhk addresses one of the most persistent and costly challenges facing financial institutions worldwide.
Launched in 2025 with US $6 million in seed funding from FINTOP Capital, alongside strategic investors Lloyds Banking Group and Capital One Ventures, Tuhk brings deep institutional credibility from day one. The company was founded by Andre Edelbrock, who previously built and sold Ethoca to Mastercard in 2019, giving Tuhk a founding team with a proven track record in payments fraud at global scale.
With a fully remote, entirely Canadian team of 12, Tuhk is in the early stages of scaling its platform into the United States, United Kingdom, and other priority international markets, while anchoring its IP, talent, and economic value firmly in Canada.
