Iain Sutcliffe is currently completing his Master of Arts in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs at the University of Waterloo, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. His graduate research focuses on Canadian climate policy, specifically evaluating the political durability of the industrial Output-Based Pricing System compared to consumer fuel charges. Iain began work at the Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) as an Intern, where he helped develop strategic proposals to reform Canada's Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy, helped draft the What Quebec Innovators Need to Scale policy document, and most recently, helped author a policy paper centered on advancing mining innovation in British Columbia.
