Andre Edelbrock

Andre Edelbrock is the CEO and co-founder of Tuhk, and one of Canada's most experienced fintech executives in payments fraud and financial crime prevention. In 2005, he founded Ethoca, a company that enabled card issuers to alert merchants of confirmed fraud and chargebacks by bypassing legacy card network messaging systems. He led Ethoca as CEO through to its acquisition by Mastercard in 2019, after which he served as Executive Vice President of Cybersecurity and Intelligence at Mastercard, overseeing the integration of the business into Mastercard's global security portfolio. In 2022, he joined the board of CAF, a Brazilian digital identity and fraud prevention provider.

Beyond Tuhk, Andre is an active investor and board member across startups and growth-stage companies in Canada, the United States, Brazil, and the United Kingdom, with a focus on strategy, team building, and capital formation. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
