Andrew Cheung

Andrew Cheung has spent more than 32 years building cybersecurity solutions that reach the market and solve real enterprise problems. He is now focused on helping organizations transition to quantum-safe infrastructure before harvest-now-decrypt-later threats turn a theoretical risk into real-world losses.

He founded 01 Communique in 1992, took the company public in 2000, and helped build it into a trusted name in secure remote access. Under his leadership, the company has secured seven patents across communications and cybersecurity. As the quantum threat became more immediate around 2022, Andrew shifted his focus to preparing enterprises for the next generation of security challenges.

While many were still debating the timeline, Andrew and his team were already developing practical solutions. Today, 01 Quantum is among the early companies delivering working quantum-safe cybersecurity tools for enterprises, with a focus on real deployment rather than theory alone.
