CCI Welcomes Anvil Intelligence to our National Network of Innovators

The Council of Canadian Innovators is proud to welcome Anvil Intelligence and CEO Samuel Witherspoon to Canada’s growing network of high-growth technology companies.

Headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, Anvil Intelligence develops ANVIL, a knowledge management platform purpose-built for defence. ANVIL dramatically increases the speed and quality of decisions, providing organizations with a fourfold uplift in analytical capacity. The platform ingests any data type, enriches it with AI, and delivers a single source of truth across the enterprise. It also automates compliance and monitoring, enabling organizations to not only answer what they know, but also how they know it and how long they can know it for.

CEO Samuel Witherspoon is an engineer and lawyer who previously served on Canada’s National Security Court before founding Anvil Intelligence. For more than a decade, he has led the development of ANVIL toward a modern vision of knowledge and information management tailored organizations. His work focuses on creating simple, powerful tools that solve problems for defence and national security organizations.
