CCI Welcomes Mircom to Our National Network of Innovators

The Council of Canadian Innovators is pleased to welcome Mircom Group of Companies and President & CEO Mark Falbo to our network of Canadian innovators.

Headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario, Mircom is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of intelligent building and life safety solutions. The company serves customers in more than 100 countries, helping building owners and operators protect people and property in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

Mircom's technology portfolio spans fire detection and alarm, communication and voice entry, security and access control, smart building systems, and emergency lighting. The company's integrated approach connects traditionally siloed building systems into unified platforms that enable intelligent technologies to enhance building automation and safety. Its solutions are independently engineered in North America and tailored to the specific needs of their clients and the people who live and work in their buildings.

As buildings become increasingly data-rich environments and interconnected, Mircom is focused on expanding its smart building capabilities, developing next-generation platforms that help building operators optimize both safety outcomes and operational efficiency.

As President and CEO, Mark Falbo leads Mircom's global strategy and growth. He joined the company in 2002 after building experience in corporate finance and law, and he continues to contribute to his community through board roles at organizations including Mackenzie Health and the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College.
