CCI Welcomes Security Compass to Our National Network of Innovators

March 30, 2026

The Council of Canadian Innovators is proud to welcome Security Compass and Chief Executive Officer Rohit Sethi to our growing national network of Canadian technology companies.

Based in Toronto, Security Compass helps organizations build secure and compliant software in environments where code is increasingly being written by both human developers and AI agents. Its platform and advisory services bring security requirements, threat modelling, and practical developer training directly into the software development process, helping organizations address risk earlier and build with greater confidence.

The company’s work is rooted in a secure-by-design approach that supports faster innovation without compromising security or compliance. Security Compass serves large enterprises and government organizations operating in high-stakes environments, including finance, defence, and regulated digital infrastructure. With strong traction in international government markets, Security Compass is also well positioned to deepen its role in Canada’s public sector as demand grows for secure software development practices.

Security Compass is led by Rohit Sethi, who has played a central role in shaping the company’s growth and helping organizations modernize how they approach software security. Rohit is a recognized voice in cybersecurity and has advised major enterprises across industries on how to strengthen their security posture while adapting to the realities of modern software development.

“As more organizations rely on software to run critical systems and services, building security into development from the outset is becoming essential,” said Patrick Searle, Chief Executive Officer of the Council of Canadian Innovators. “Security Compass is helping teams tackle that challenge in a practical way, giving enterprises and public institutions the tools to develop software that is more secure, more compliant, and better suited to an increasingly complex threat environment.”

Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been dedicated to supporting Canada’s high-growth technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies that strengthen Canadian innovation, productivity, and long-term economic resilience.
