CCI Welcomes Stay22 to Our National Network of Innovators
May 20, 2026
The Council of Canadian Innovators is proud to welcome Stay22 and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Lockhead to our growing national network of Canadian technology companies.
Based in Montreal, Stay22 helps ambitious creators and publishers turn their existing audiences into incremental revenue, with technology that works quietly in the background. Today, more than 6,500 creators and publishers rely on Stay22, driving over $1 billion in annual transactions in 2025.
Originally built for travel, the company now supports partners across retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transportation as it expands its monetization infrastructure for the modern creator economy.
Stay22 is led by Andrew Lockhead, who co-founded the company in 2016 and has guided its growth through major shifts in the digital economy while expanding into new markets and verticals.
"Canadian technology companies are creating new ways for digital platforms and creators to build sustainable businesses," said Patrick Searle, Chief Executive Officer of the Council of Canadian Innovators. "Stay22 is helping partners turn audience intent into real commercial value with Canadian-built technology designed for the modern digital economy."
Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been dedicated to supporting Canada's high-growth technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies that strengthen Canadian innovation, productivity, and long-term economic resilience.
