Hina Ahmed

Hina Ahmed is a passionate policy leader who brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across public policy, regulatory systems, strategic operations, and large-scale transformation.

Prior to joining CCI, Hina held senior leadership roles within the Government of Ontario, leading complex cross-sector initiatives on key files including environmental compliance, green technology,  enterprise funding modernization, integrated human services delivery, and inclusion-focused systems change. She is recognized for navigating complexity, building trust across sectors, and turning ambitious ideas into actionable outcomes.

Hina is passionate about creating the policy conditions that help Ontario companies grow, compete globally, and lead from home. At her core, Hina is motivated by work that helps people, communities, and ideas thrive. She holds an Honors Degree from McMaster University in Political Science and Women’s Studies and a Masters in Policy from the University of Waterloo. In her spare time you will find her at a local kickboxing class, trying out a new craft or checking out the newest cafe or bookshop.
