CCI Welcomes AKA Energy Systems to Canada’s Network of Innovators

The Council of Canadian Innovators (CCI) is proud to welcome AKA Energy Systems and CEO Jason Aspin to Canada’s growing network of high-growth technology companies.
Headquartered in Prince Edward Island, AKA Energy Systems has been a pioneer in integrated power and propulsion solutions since 1996. The company designs, manufactures, and supports advanced energy systems for marine, offshore oil and gas, and land-based industries.
A true Canadian innovator, AKA has achieved several world firsts, including the development of the first hybrid propulsion system on a tugboat and hybrid drilling floor systems for offshore platforms.
Under the leadership of co-founder and CEO Jason Aspin, AKA Energy Systems continues to align sustainability and environmental stewardship with business strategy, advancing solutions that strengthen Canada’s position in global energy and clean technology markets.
