CCI Welcomes Aviron Industries to Our National Network of Innovators

November 19, 2025

The Council of Canadian Innovators is pleased to welcome Aviron Industries and Co-Founder and CEO Mathieu Boulianne to our national network of high-growth technology companies.

Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Aviron is an applied AI company transforming finance and procurement operations through agentic automation. Its secure, Canadian-hosted platform integrates seamlessly with ERPs, CRMs, Outlook, Teams, and internal systems—creating a single workspace where finance work gets done.

By turning workflows into executable business playbooks, Aviron automates procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes end-to-end—going far beyond simple OCR to deliver AI that understands context and executes tasks autonomously.

Built for mission-critical environments, Aviron's infrastructure is designed to meet the highest standards of privacy, compliance, and data protection, making it government-ready and bank-grade secure. The result: unified finance stacks, reduced manual workloads, and more time for higher-value decision-making.

Mathieu Boulianne is a former investment banker turned tech entrepreneur with more than a decade of experience at the intersection of financial strategy and deep technology. Before Aviron, he co-founded StreamingFast—a blockchain data infrastructure company that was acquired by The Graph in a landmark US$60M transaction. He has also co-incubated multiple ventures at Diagram Ventures and invested in over fifteen startups. Earlier in his career, Mathieu served as Vice President in Investment Banking at the National Bank of Canada, advising CFOs and finance leaders across diverse sectors.

"Aviron is bringing transformative AI to one of the most critical functions in any organization—finance and procurement," said CCI President Benjamin Bergen. "Their focus on secure, Canadian-hosted infrastructure combined with true agentic automation makes them well-positioned to serve enterprises and government institutions. We're excited to welcome Mathieu and the Aviron team to the Council."

Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been dedicated to supporting Canada's high-growth technology companies, working with government leaders to co-develop strategies that unlock the country's innovation potential.
