CCI Welcomes Bluedrop ISM to our National Network of Innovators
May 23, 2025
The Council of Canadian Innovators is excited to welcome Bluedrop ISM and Founder & CEO Emad Rizkalla as the newest members of our national network of high-growth tech companies.
Based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Bluedrop is helping governments and industries deliver training and manage certifications with ease. Its Defence and Aerospace division is a global leader in advanced training and simulation for complex equipment and mission training. The company has active projects in over a dozen countries and was recognized as a top 1% supplier for Lockheed Martin globally. Bluedrop’s SkillsPass platform makes it simple for workers to achieve, access and share important verifiable credentials—and for employers and regulators to track them.
In Canada, Bluedrop is already working with six provinces to improve how compliance, OH&S and productivity training is delivered, tracked and utilized. Their work is helping workers remain relevant and, increasingly, Bluedrop is supporting labour mobility initiatives to keep Canada strong.
“Bluedrop is a great example of a Canadian company solving real problems with smart technology,” said CCI President Benjamin Bergen. “They’re helping workers, employers, and regulators spend less time on paperwork and more time getting things done—and their work makes Canada more competitive. We’re proud to have them in our network.”
Since 2015, the Council of Canadian Innovators has been the business voice for Canada’s fastest-growing tech companies, working to build a stronger economy through better innovation policy.
